The Retreat

Γνῶθι σεαυτόν - KNOW THYSELF.

A modern pilgrimage centred around a meaningful question

Delphi Awakening is a boutique experiential retreat integrating mind and body, inviting you to return to the ancient tradition of the personal journey, centred around a meaningful question.

Here, the question is not something to solve, but something to enter and explore, through landscape, myth, sound, movement, reflection, and dialogue.

We are all called to make choices, yet often find ourselves at crossroads or moving in circles that take us further from clarity. The right question brings direction, shaping both the path and the answer.

It opens a way of knowing that is felt, embodied, and lasting.

Alongside its depth, the experience invites moments of lightness, connection, and shared joy.

This retreat is designed for those seeking clarity, direction, and a deeper connection with themselves and is a curated sequence of experiences designed to support the unfolding of a meaningful personal question.

By Invitation Only

Limited to 8–12 guests

Spaces are intentionally limited to allow for depth, attention, and a shared group experience.

Next Retreat: October 9th - 12th

The Experience

For centuries, travellers journeyed to Delphi, once considered the centre of the ancient world, to consult the oracle.

Delphi Awakening returns to this tradition in a different way.

Here, the answer is not given.

The question becomes the path.

Guests are invited to arrive with a question, or with the openness to allow one to emerge.

Through a range of experiential practices, primarily in nature, they begin to notice what the question may be revealing.

This retreat is designed for those seeking clarity, direction, and a deeper connection with themselves and is a curated sequence of experiences designed to support the unfolding of a meaningful personal question.

Through psychology, myth, ritual, movement, nature, sound, reflection, and dialogue, participants are invited into a process of exploration, connection, and integration.

Day 1 — The Delphic Inquiry

A guided exploration of the archaeological site and museum, engaging with the archetypes and symbolism woven into the Delphic landscape.

Day 2 — The Grove of Listening

A guided walk and sound bath through the ancient olive groves of Delphi.

A day immersed in the Delphic landscape, where the walk becomes a form of listening. The experience unfolds through a guided hike, followed by meditation and a sound bath held in nature, and a picnic within the olive grove.

Within the stillness of the grove, participants are invited to attune to their inner world, allowing their personal question to emerge, shift, or deepen.

Day 3 — The Descent to the Cave

A guided hike to the Korykeion Cave.

A full-day journey where hiking, ritual, mindfulness, and sound are woven together. In the stillness of the cave, aspects of the question begin to echo back in unexpected ways, revealing new layers through embodied experience.

The day continues with a picnic in the forest, grounding the experience within the natural surroundings.

This is a day of descent and return, where the landscape itself becomes part of the process.

Day 4 — The Asclepian Dream

An invitation to enter the dream world, and to attune to the language through which the unconscious communicates.

Exploring practices of dream incubation, participants are guided in how to invite dreams as part of their personal inquiry.

Sound Baths:

Two sound bath experiences, held in the olive grove and in the forest, offer unique opportunities for deep relaxation and reconnection.

Immersed in nature, these sessions invite a gentle dialogue with the body and inner world, supporting a deeper connection to self and surroundings.

Mind–Body Awakening:

Three morning sessions to begin the day feeling alive, present, and deeply aware, through embodiment and movement.

Individual Inquiry:

A one-to-one psychology session, offering space to explore more deeply the question, or the answer, as it begins to emerge.

The Celebration:

A shared evening of warmth and connection, gathered around a sumptuous meal. As the night unfolds, Greek rhythms emerge, and through guided movement, the dance of syrtaki invites a sense of joy, presence, and collective spirit.

Evenings in Arachova and Delphi:

Evenings include dinners in traditional restaurants in Arachova and Delphi, offering an opportunity to experience the local atmosphere, cuisine, and rhythm of both places, and to gently explore their character.

Time is also held for journaling and personal reflection, alongside the use of the pool and spa facilities.

What sets this retreat apart is not just the variety of activities but the intentionality behind each one.

The facilitators created a sacred space where participants felt seen, heard, and supported. So many things have stayed with me.

Having all of the different modalities to be able to connect with, and reflect on my life in conjunction with the neuroscience have truly given me a different outlook, and approach on life.

- TESTIMONIAL

The Setting

We will be hosted at the 5-star Santa Marina Arachova Resort & Spa, set on the slopes of Mount Parnassos with views over the Delphic valley.

The spa includes an indoor pool, sauna, hammam, and ice bath, offering space for rest and restoration alongside the retreat experience.

Why Delphi?

Nestled on the slopes of Mt. Parnassus, Delphi, once considered the mythic navel of the world, is a powerful place where heaven and earth converge.

In ancient times, seekers visited Delphi to consult the Oracle for guidance on crucial life decisions. Our retreat channels this ancient wisdom, inviting participants to reflect on their own important decisions and core issues. The myths and symbols of Ancient Greece come alive during guided visits to the temple of Apollo and the museum of Delphi, sparking meaningful conversations about self-discovery and the meaning of life.

The maxims inscribed at the temple, such as 'Know Thyself' and 'Nothing in Excess,' prompt contemplation on personal limits, values and needs. Delphi offers an authentic encounter with the gifts of Ancient Greece, bringing to life gods, philosophers, and archetypes shared by humanity.
